By using our website, as well as by booking and using our services through our website or other partner sites, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use which, together with our privacy policy, govern your relationship with QUINTA DO FRADINHO – AGROTURISMO, Lda. – hereinafter referred to as QUINTA DO FRADINHO.
QUINTA DO FRADINHO offers Local Accommodation that promotes personal development, well-being and health through contact with nature and the local culture of Northern Portugal and Galicia.
Access to this site is permitted on a temporary basis and we reserve the right to withdraw or alter services and content without prior notice. We cannot be held responsible if, for any reason, this site is unavailable for a certain period.
QUINTA DO FRADINHO shall not be liable for any damages or losses that may arise from the use of any information contained on this site.
All intellectual property rights relating to the content and information provided (texts, images, brands and logos) belong exclusively to QUINTA DO FRADINHO and the copying, reproduction, modification or dissemination, in whole or in part, of the content of this website is expressly prohibited without the prior written authorization of QUINTA DO FRADINHO.
Accommodation
QUINTA DO FRADINHO offers local accommodation in individual houses.
QUINTA DO FRADINHO is registered with RNET under number 164094/AL.
No meals are provided.
By booking accommodation at QUINTA DO FRADINHO, as well as during their stay, the Client agrees to the following terms and conditions:
1.1 Conditions for booking and staying in accommodation
These general conditions of participation are intended to establish the terms governing the relationship between QUINTA DO FRADINHO and the client.
Any booking is subject to and presupposes the reading, knowledge and acceptance of the general terms and conditions of participation described in this document.
To book accommodation at QUINTA DO FRADINHO, the client must be at least 18 years old.
The maximum number of guests per house is explained on the QUINTA DO FRADINHO website.
Only the client who made the reservation and their previously identified companions/clients will have access to the accommodation and other spaces, and there will be a penalty equal to double the amount of the stay if there are more people on the premises than the number reserved.
Access by any other person requires prior authorization from QUINTA DO FRADINHO.
All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by responsible adults throughout their stay at QUINTA DO FRADINHO.
Children up to 3 years old accompanied by their parents do not pay (cribs subject to price and availability).
Children over 3 years old in extra beds are subject to an additional charge.
It is forbidden to keep animals at QUINTA DO FRADINHO. The introduction by the Client of animals in QUINTA DO FRADINHO will allow us to promptly terminate the contract with the Client and force him to leave QUINTA DO FRADINHO without refunding the amounts paid for the accommodation during the contracted period of stay and charging a fine of double the amount of the stay.
Under the terms of Law no. 63/2017, in the facilities of QUINTA DO FRADINHO, with the exception of the areas duly identified outside, it is not permitted to smoke any tobacco products and/or their derivatives, namely electronic cigarettes. In the event of non-compliance, QUINTA DO FRADINHO reserves the right to charge between €50 and €500 in accordance with Decree-Law 37/2007.
We recommend civic-minded and non-abusive parking. QUINTA DO FRADINHO is not responsible for damage to third parties or theft of vehicles.
QUINTA DO FRADINHO reserves the right to expel customers who are acting in an unfair, offensive, discriminatory or threatening manner towards other customers or employees or persons.
It is forbidden to make changes to the organization of the space and equipment in the rooms and common areas.
It is forbidden to store dangerous items in the rooms such as weapons, ammunition, explosives, flammable materials, psychoactive substances or any other prohibited substances.
Hunting and fishing are prohibited.
It is forbidden to sell items in the QUINTA DO FRADINHO areas.
During your stay, it is forbidden to make noise that disturbs the rest of other guests and neighbors and to behave inappropriately. Customers must respect the quiet hours, from 23h00 to 07h00.
Failure to take care of and respect QUINTA DO FRADINHO’s spaces is strictly forbidden, and penalties may be applied at a charge.
In the event of damage, theft or loss of items belonging to QUINTA DO FRADINHO, QUINTA DO FRADINHO reserves the right to charge the full amount of the damaged/stolen or lost items.
The contracting of the accommodation offered by QUINTA DO FRADINHO by the Client is considered formalized when the reservation is made.
Reservations for QUINTA DO FRADINHO’s accommodation units are made by email at reservas@quintadofradinho.pt or by direct booking on QUINTA DO FRADINHO’s website and always imply pre-payment validated within the indicated period.
The number of guests per room is explained on the website. Reservations are considered in order of validation of prepayment and/or payment.
QUINTA DO FRADINHO, being in a forest area, is subject to failures in internet, television and mobile data communications. QUINTA DO FRADINHO will not be held responsible for any such situation, as it is not responsible for this.
1.2 Extra orders
Extra requests made by Clients should preferably be placed at the time of booking, in order to adjust details and associated costs, which will be charged to the Client. QUINTA DO FRADINHO cannot guarantee that all requests will be met, but every effort will be made to do so.
Reservations always presuppose full payment of the associated cost when they are made.
Please note that all reservations will be charged in euros (local currency). The prices shown include VAT na taxes at the legal rate.
1.3 Cancellation policy
The client may cancel their reservation at any time, provided they expressly notify QUINTA DO FRADINHO in writing by emailing reservas@quintadofradinho.pt.
If the customer cancels their reservation up to 45 days before the scheduled check-in date, they will receive a full refund, although they will be charged the costs of handling the amounts in question via payment platforms or banks.
The reservation is only considered valid once the amounts have been properly collected and on the date of proper collection.
Deposits are only refundable under the conditions set out herein, which will begin after the respective cancellation, and will take place within 14 working days.
The amount of the reservation after deduction of applicable costs will be credited to the Client’s bank account using the same payment method (i.e. debit card / credit card / net-banking) by which the reservation was made.
No refund or credit will be made for no-shows, without any exceptions.
In the event of a no-show, without prior notice, on the day of check-in, the Client will lose the right to the prepaid amount and will also be obliged to pay the remaining amount, if it is still outstanding, which will be debited from their credit card or, through notification sent by QUINTA DO FRADINHO, by email with payment instructions.
QUINTA DO FRADINHO reserves the right to cancel accommodation reservations on the following grounds:
ENVIRONMENTAL AND NATURAL PHENOMENA: such as floods, fires, earthquakes, storms or other serious climatic and geographical events that put public health and the physical and psychological exposure of participants at risk. It should be noted that minor atmospheric changes, such as light or moderate rain, fog, heat or other unseasonable weather conditions, are not considered grounds for cancellation.
SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CONDITIONS: such as strikes by services directly or indirectly associated with the execution of the program, pests, epidemics and global pandemics, among other elements that put public health and the physical and psychological exposure of participants at risk. In this cases, the client will have the sole and exclusive right to a single refund of the amounts paid in the meantime.
The notification of cancellation must be given at least 24 hours before the date of the event and QUINTA DO FRADINHO will not be held responsible for any personal expenses incurred by clients, such as airline tickets or other travel expenses.
We recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that may cause your booking to be canceled.
2. Client
The Client is responsible for the veracity and reliability of the data and information provided to QUINTA DO FRADINHO, namely for insurance purposes.
The Client is fully responsible for their individual conduct during the entire period of time in which they use the services they have contracted with QUINTA DO FRADINHO, and will be held liable for all damages and/or losses of any nature that are a consequence of their conduct or behavior.
The Client is also responsible for their own safety when circulating within QUINTA DO FRADINHO. QUINTA DO FRADINHO is located in a typical area of the Alto Minho, characterized by steep slopes and narrow terraces. QUINTA DO FRADINHO has several areas with high unprotected walls, as well as boulders, and the Client must keep a distance from the edges, use the paths for safe circulation and keep a close eye on children and other minors in their care at all times. Also, because this is a working farm and the Client is allowed free movement, there are tools and implements on the property and agricultural plants which should not be handled and from which children and other minors should keep their distance.
Likewise, the harvesting and ingestion of plants from QUINTA DO FRADINHO must be prevented, as some may be toxic, and the Client and minors in their charge must act sensibly around any animals, with shouting and threatening gestures being prohibited, with a view to the safety of people and animals.
The Client also undertakes to scrupulously respect and comply with all instructions given by QUINTA DO FRADINHO and/or its employees, including good environmental practices in all nature tourism activities.
The Client assigns, free of charge, all rights to use their image to QUINTA DO FRADINHO, waiving any right to receive any amount or value that may be earned from broadcasting or advertising rights, promotions, or any other means.
QUINTA DO FRADINHO is free to use the images recorded and collected in the course of its activities for professional or other purposes deemed appropriate.
Citizens belonging to the European Union must have their personal or family documentation in good order (ID card, passport, military documentation, authorization for minors, visas, vaccination certificates and any others that may be required, as well as a European health insurance card).
Citizens of non-EU countries should consult the embassies/consulates of their countries of origin for specific information on the documentation required for travel.
3. Insurance
QUINTA DO FRADINHO’s liability for accommodation is guaranteed by:
CIVIL LIABILITY INSURANCE (Activity: Local Accommodation): Civil Liability Insurance with Companhia de Seguros Ocidental policy no. RC78759697, in the amount of 75,000 euros, under the terms of the legislation.
4. Payments
The Participant can pay for the services using the options available on the website.

Any charges levied on QUINTA DO FRADINHO by the Banks, in the context of payments made or refused, must be reimbursed by the client within seven (7) days of receipt of the summons sent.

Under the terms of Law no. 144/2015 of September 8, in its current wording, we inform you that the participant may resort to the following Alternative Dispute Resolution Entities:

6. Complaints
Your opinion is important to us. If you have any suggestions or complaints, please do not hesitate to make them, as this will be the best way of improving our service and resolving any disputes to your satisfaction.

7. Validity
This document is valid for the duration of the accommodation.
8. Law and jurisdiction
The invalidity of one or more of the foregoing provisions shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision will be replaced by the valid provision, as close as possible to the commercial and legal intentions of the parties, or if this is not possible under current Portuguese law.
Any dispute relating to the same shall be governed by the Portuguese legislation in force, with the Courts of the district of Viana do Castelo having jurisdiction.

These Terms and Conditions may be supplemented and/or amended, with due notice being given.
In the event of a dispute, we would like to inform you that the consumer can turn to the Alternative Dispute Resolution organisations identified on the consumer portal, on the following website www.consumidor.pt, or Online Consumer Dispute Resolution identified on the website https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr.
